through the eyes of a pregnant woman, or the worst part about breastfeeding is all that pumping
We went to a beautiful country fair in Maine this weekend, and while Alfred was thrilled with the rides and cotton candy....
... I found myself drawn to other "attractions."

we did the Dutchess County fair last week...Ezra was fascinated by all the udder action. Dairy goats nurse off each other seemingly indiscriminately? Also, prepubescent cow udders look remarkably labial. Who knew?

i guess we should be glad that when we're engorged, we can still walk without feeling like we have a bowling ball between our legs?

Daddy G- The pig was called Wilbur (E B White's house is a Blue Hill landmark) but I think it may have been a lady pig taking a breather between lactating and breeding. I am pretty sure the fleshy pale pink and white furry balloon-sized globes squeezing out from between its legs were labia not balls. Unclear. There was a nearby vegetable growing contest with a massive pumpkin. Maybe this was the fattest pig contest? Whatever the reason for its presence, I must say I was humbled.

Need some pig answers in regards to the Blue Hill Fair? I don't really have them but this is what I know. I think all of their names started with B. For instance the middle one was named Buttons and the end one was named Buela Jane or something. The piglets were there for the Sue Wee racing and the big guys were their just for.... fun I guess. Maybe they did the racing too, although I can't imagine.
